Eltek recently restructured itself under a single brand name in order to demonstrate its renewed focus on high-efficiency power conversion products and now the company has launched a new office in Istanbul, Turkey to establish a stronger presence there.

Eltek has so far opened its regional offices in more than 34 countries around the globe and the new office in Turkey is supposed to employ experienced and trained Eltek personnel to provide a high level of pre-sales and post-sales customer support.

Eltek, a developer and marketer of high-efficiency (HE) power solutions for telecom and industrial applications, claimed that it has been offering power solutions for global telecommunications networks for more than four decades and its offerings cover all power requirements ranging from small to large scale enterprises. Recently, Eltek is stated to have expanded from its base in telecom power systems into solar inverters, industrial DC power supplies, electric vehicle charging products and other applications.

The company asserted that the organizational changes it is implementing will further streamline its operational structure, enabling the company to move forward with its globally aligned brand and long-term strategic vision.

For Eltek, Turkey is a large and important market with strategic importance. The company is said to have conducted business with key multinational customers in Turkey for several years, and needed a stronger local presence to meet their requirements. A local office will also open new possibilities within telecom and other industries Eltek is operating in.

Officials with Eltek maintained that Turkey has seen a tremendous growth over the last decade and the annual average GDP growth rate in the period 2011-2017 is expected to be 6.7 percent. This underlines the importance of a strong presence in this market. Besides being an important market on its own, it is also an important bridge between Europe, CIS countries in the region and the Middle East.
