Altobridge Limited has signed a strategic agreement with Replify for procuring limited, global, mobile backhaul privileges to an intellectual property suite featuring proprietary data optimization capabilities.

Data-at-the-Edge, the Altobridge (News - Alert) data optimization platform, awaits approval from the patent office and incorporates this functionality. The platform also applies Byte Level Caching, Predictive Cache Loading, Data Stream de-duplication, Data Compression and Protocol Optimization.

Data moving from the key network of an operator to its radio access network (RAN) can now be identified, managed and optimized at the most intricate level with Altobridge’s Data-at-the-Edge. The solution also allows users to optimize conflicting forms of data, like video and email.

At least 50-percent reductions in mobile data backhaul are possible with the solution, decreasing expenses involved in offering mobile broadband via backhaul-restricted cellular base station. Base stations helping remote communities, remote enterprises and macro urban areas in budding markets and developing nations can also use this solution.
