Conterra Implements Centina Systems' NetOmnia for Superior Network Performance, Customer Experience

Plano, TX-based service assurance and service quality management solutions provider, Centina Systems, announced that Conterra Broadband Services, a Charlotte- based national provider of facilities-based broadband services, has implemented its NetOmnia solution.

The country's only hybrid alternative access provider, Conterra Broadband Services caters to the wireless and wireline carriers, schools, healthcare organizations and enterprises in underserved parts of America. According to its website, Conterra provides wireless backhaul for some of the most challenging tower sites in the country.

The implementation of NetOmnia solution will allow Conterra to provide a comprehensive, end-to-end fault and performance management solution for their nationwide mobile backhaul network and meet stringent customer service level agreements.

“Centina Systems' NetOmnia(TM) solution has allowed Conterra to improve network performance and assist in meeting our client SLAs,” said Dennis Francis, president and COO at Conterra.

Leveraging NetOmnia, Conterra will be able to increase service standards, improve customer satisfaction and enhance network reliability across their entire voice, video and data transport network infrastructure, according to a news release.

Centina Systems' NetOmnia Cable Assurance solution allows cable MSOs to offer comprehensive and proactive Service Assurance and monitoring of all Cable Modems and eMTAs, offering unprecedented visibility into customer premise equipment.

With NetOmnia’s integration to customer subscriber data, MSOs are able to visualize and present a comprehensive view of the health of individual customers as well as identify congestion and other service affecting issues in real time before they affect customers.

“Conterra is focused on enhancing the customer experience, and we're proud to be a part of that goal,” said Anand Gonuguntla, co-founder and CEO at Centina Systems. “Centina Systems' NetOmnia(TM) provides the innovation and focus that aligns with Conterra's commitment to provide their clients with high-quality service and support.”

A few months ago, Local Backhaul Networks announced that the OcularIP SLA portal application has been recognized by Conterra Broadband Services as being a significant factor in Conterra winning business and showcasing their network performance.
