On the heels of its successful completion of a fiber backhaul rollout at the corporate retail location in Palm Coast, O2 (News - Alert) Secure Wireless, Inc. is set to begin testing its new cutting-edge wireless broadband equipment.
O2 Secure Wireless is engaged in developing numerous wireless tower facilities in the U.S. and has a Service Network Agreement for the populated territory encompassing the city of Palm Coast Florida, representing a market potential in the range of 55,000 households.
The testing period will span 60 days following installation, O2 Secure Wireless revealed in a recent statement. The company will thoroughly test the total coverage area and signal strength for indoor and outdoor coverage, as well as the different antennas and amplifiers.
The equipment will be tested in its various configurations. Once it meets or exceeds the specifications of the manufacturers' technical data, O2 will approve the purchase of the equipment and begin building out the Palm Coast market area.
In an effort to build up a brand identity, O2 has engaged in many community events in the Palm Coast region. The recent announcement with BigHeadTV, and the execution of national resale agreements, has given the company a distinctly superior advantage in the marketplace.
“We are very excited to have reached this landmark in our strategy to build a presence in the Palm Coast territory,” said Val Kazia, president of O2 Secure Wireless. “These tests will allow us to have 'real' coverage data, original coverage models indicated 12 sites were needed; we refined that down to seven sites, but once the evaluation is complete we will be able to determine the precise coverage requirement in order to deliver the best quality product to the consumer.”
“We anticipate that we will be able to announce many new developments as events begin to unfold and the project goes into full swing,” she added.
O2 has also increased the share structure from 1.5 billion to eight billion shares for the purpose of raising the capital sought after to complete the projects in Palm Coast Florida, and the Dominican Republic.
