EJL Wireless Research recently released a report titled "Global BTS Antenna Market Analysis and Forecast, 2011-2016," in which Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited has been named one of the top three suppliers of base station antennas by market share.

According EJL, this new report was released after the firm's wireless infrastructure research division focused on all vertical elements of the wireless ecosystem including mobile subscribers, mobile operators, mobile handsets, mobile infrastructure and mobile content.

The EJL Wireless Research report has classified Comba Telecom and two other antenna suppliers as "Tier 1 Suppliers" which collectively controlled approximately 50 percent of all global base station antenna shipments in 2011.

In addition, the piece analyzes and measures global shipments and demand for base station antenna equipment covering all frequency bands from 450MHz to 2600MHz and the following standards: GSM/EDGE, WCDMA/HSPA, CDMA2000, TD-SCDMA and FDD/TDD LTE (News - Alert).

Carol Ye, Comba Telecom's Deputy General Manager, Antennas and Subsytems, said their company has an extensive antenna product portfolio from single-band to multi-band, covering all frequencies and standards.

The company has grown substantially worldwide by offering innovative patented products and technologies which support network migration from 2G/3G to 4G/LTE.
