With the newly launched NEWSLINK service, C Spire Wireless aims to deliver free, personalized news content directly to the devices of businesses and consumers.
According to the company, NEWSLINK supposedly learns what matters to users the most, and delivers personalized news stories to them and the more stories they read and share, the more personalized their news becomes. It is capable of learning and organizing the interests of the customer by analyzing their wireless usage and news consumption and the service is purported to be the only fully integrated and personalized news delivery service.
Jim Richmond, vice president of corporate communications for C Spire Wireless commented, “NEWSLINK was designed and developed with personalization in mind – making a fantastic addition to C Spire’s growing suite of industry-first personalized wireless services. The company’s analytics tools and search engines comb through millions of news and information sources daily to recommend the most timely, relevant and meaningful content for each individual customer based on their likes, dislikes, interests and viewpoints.”
With NEWSLINK, one doesn’t need to browse through pages looking at stories they are not interested in because the NEWSLINK service does all the work for them – finding and delivering personalized news each and every day.
C Spire explained that its objective is to help customers by personalizing wireless services designed just for them. Its personalization capabilities are powered by Pulse (News - Alert), its proprietary system that enables it to understand and develop a closer relationship with customers. C Spire has also created PERCS, a one-of-a-kind rewards program that rewards users for things they already do. Users can accumulate non-cash value points ‘PERC Points’ by engaging in activities on their way to personalizing their wireless experience.
Customers can earn PERCS points while using NEWSLINK for activities such as sharing and commenting on stories, sharing their NEWSLINK e-mail and just reading their personalized story content.
