BLiNQ Networks Inc., a pioneer of wireless backhaul solutions, recently introduced a small cell backhaul solution known as the X-100.
A rapidly scalable self-organizing system, the X-100 uses innovative non-line-of-sight and point-to-multipoint technologies and easily eliminates capacity hotspots.
Officials said that BLiNQ's X-100 systems also provide a ubiquitous and cost effective solution for heterogeneous network deployments. Operators, with the help of this are allowed to deploy small cells exactly where they are needed and reduce the time and expense associated with traditional backhaul solutions.
"The X-100 is the first product that we are introducing as part of BLiNQ's Backhaul Suite," said Mickey Miller, CEO and President of BLiNQ Networks, in a statement. "Our patent-pending software solves a number of capacity challenges in the enterprise, telecom, and mobile infrastructures."
The solution is cost effective and offers 30 percent cost savings over line-of-sight microwave and millimeter wave solutions as well as 55 percent cost savings as compared to fiber optical backhaul. It provides carriers with an easy-to-deploy, highly scalable backhaul service wherever they need to add capacity to meet the insatiable bandwidth demands of the mobile consumer.
Available in both low-cost licensed and non-exclusive licensed spectrum, the X-100 is easily installed in less than 15 minutes by a single technician and is self-configuring. To maximize capacity and reliability of wireless backhaul in true non-line-of-sight conditions, the solution implements interference management technology.
Officials said that the solution also offers breakthrough capacity of 83 Mbps in 10 MHz bandwidth channel.
In related TMC (News - Alert) news, BLiNQ Networks Inc. recently announced that it has raised an additional $10 million in funding to expand and accelerate global sales and marketing efforts as well as ongoing development of BLiNQ's patent-pending, high capacity mobile transport solutions.
