Franklin Wireless (News - Alert) Corp., a firm engaged in the design, manufacturing and sale of high-speed wireless data products, recently introduced its new Smart USB Hotspot series of wireless devices.
The Smart USB Hotspot series can be used as traditional USB modems or as portable Wi-Fi mobile hotspots for wireless connectivity.
With the help of this unique product line, users can access wireless broadband networks by inserting them into the USB port of a laptop, tablet or other device.
Officials said users can also insert them into an external power source by using an A/C adaptor, car cigarette lighter adaptor or battery pack, to instantly transform them into a Wi-Fi mobile hotspot available to multiple users.
"It is with a great deal of pride that Franklin Wireless announces the launch of the new 2-in-1 Smart USB Hotspot series," OC Kim, president of Franklin Wireless, said in a statement. "This marks an important milestone for our Company as we continue to pioneer new and innovative solutions for our carrier partners and their customers. Users of these devices will be impressed with how easy they are to use as well as the convenience and versatility that comes with their 2-in-1 functionality.”
Exceptionally easy to use and convenient, the Smart USB Hotspot series features 2-in-1 design and allows for multi-user access over Wi-Fi networks or more secure access via USB connection for a single user.
Its Web-based interface needs no software to be installed onto the host device to which any of the Smart USB Hotspots are connected. The devices may also be used as Wi-Fi mobile hotspots wherever any power is available.
Kim further added, “The Smart USB Hotspot series takes mobile wireless connectivity to the next level by keeping people connected at home, at the office or while traveling down the road in a vehicle. The Wi-Fi mobile hotspot feature is truly innovative because it allows these devices to transcend the traditional USB modem world by providing multiple users with wireless connectivity from one device."
