Meru Networks (News - Alert), a supplier of wireless local area networks (WLAN) to numerous industries, boasts a well-developed partner network that includes some of the industry’s most successful wireless players.
It is these reselling partners that take the company’s wireless solutions to the end user.
In recognition of the fact that value added resellers (VAR) and systems integrators are vital to business success in the wireless industry, and that the partners need to be adequately rewarded, Meru has rolled out a revamped channel partner program.
The new channel program is designed to strengthen the company’s initiative to identify, develop, promote and reward its top partners, company reps said in a recent statement.
A well developed partner network can be critical to delivering its products and services to end users in diverse industries such as hospitality, healthcare, education and more. The increasing criticality of secure, reliable and high-performance mobility in the workplace, the classroom and hotel has created a great opportunity for VARs and systems integrators in the wireless industry.
Meru’s enhanced channel partner program is aimed at giving proper recognition to those partners who have been outstanding in their performance, delivering Meru’s products and wireless services.
Under the new channel partner program, successful partners can expect to get increased support and greater rewards from the company.
Four new aspects have been introduced to enhance Meru’s partner channel program-- New Programme Levels, Deal Registration Incentives Program, No-Cost Training Program and Demo Kit Program.
Three new program levels – Authorized, Gold and Platinum – have been introduced to delineate the expertise of each reseller, reinforcing Meru’s commitment to maintaining and rewarding its most customer-focused and technically advanced partners.
Deal Registration Incentives Program is aimed at recognizing and rewarding partners for generating and bringing opportunities to Meru.
No-Cost Training Program is designed to provide all qualifying Meru Partners with instructor-led online training. This training will be available at no charge to Meru’s Authorized, Gold and Platinum partners.
This enables partners to maintain the expertise required to specify, install and support Meru solutions.
Under Demo Kit Program, Meru’s top tier partners – Gold and Platinum – will receive demonstration equipment at no charge, with Authorized resellers receiving a significant discount. The demonstration kit program helps partners educate prospects and close sales by demonstrating Meru solutions wherever they might be required.
“We are delivering on our commitment to invest in our partners to help them deliver world-class enterprise wireless solutions to their customers. The changes to the program are intended to make it easy for our partners to grow and expand their businesses by supporting the needs of our mutual customers,” said vice president of worldwide sales channels for Meru Networks, Gary Abad.
Earlier this month, Meru Networks announced its new Meru Education-Grade (MEG) wireless platform. This platform, comprised of Meru's Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) provisioning and guest management software, and Meru's unique virtualized wireless LAN solutions, has been designed to help campus IT departments support academic goals to deliver learning-essential applications that work over a robust Wi-Fi network, despite the crush of BYOD.
