Recently, Enterasys (News - Alert) enhanced its partner programs as part of the new IdentiFi WLAN solution. This expansion will help the company to improve in WLAN footprints.

Enterasys IdentiFi is a new Wi-Fi solution that provides access points, controllers and management software. IdentiFi caters to all important industry needs, including scalability, visibility, security and application performance.

IdentiFi allows companies to manage and control the massive influx of wireless devices resulting from BYOD and enterprise mobility initiatives.

The service offers an improved user experience in what is quickly becoming the new normal – “hyper-dense” Wi-Fi environment. Enterasys is the first vendor to showcase state-of-the-art, real-time analytics for combined wired and wireless networks with its Mobile IAM solution, through seamless integration with IdentiFi.

The IdentiFi wireless solution is purpose-built to solve today's BYOD and high-density problems, address performance demands, and the need to offer predictable cost models. It also provides wired-like performance, offering an improved quality of experience for mobile and BYOD users.

“Enterasys partners have helped fuel our industry leading growth in the wireless market. To improve support of our partners and accelerate mutual growth, we are further investing in new programs and incentives," said Charlie Van Pelt, director of NA Channels with Enterasys. "These initiatives further validate our strategy and commitment as a channel-focused and friendly company.”

In June 2012, the company announced that a third of the series, “#etshighed,” will be conducted on June 28, 2012 and feature Michael Krigsman, CEO at Asuret. Vala Afshar, chief customer officer at Enterasys, will be Joining Krigsman.

Michael and Vala will initiate a discussion on how CIOs are successfully deploying technology to facilitate social engagement, and how to navigate the complicated relationship between IT and Social Campus initiatives.
