Polaris Wireless Achieves Record Revenue and Profitability in 2012



Providers of wireless services are relying increasingly on location based services as they provide increased accuracy. This increased accuracy in turn offers increased revenues to operators. It also provides an enhanced user experience to the customers.


Polaris Wireless has announced that the company has witnessed a significant surge in its revenue and profitability in 2012. The company had its revenue grow by 79 percent and it also had a six fold increase in the profitability.

According to the company, these positive results are because of the sales efforts made in 2011. The company has also been signing new customers all across the world in the last few years. The company now provides services such as lawful and mass location surveillance and emergency call applications to various customers around the world.

The location services provided by Polaris wireless allows operators to achieve improved accuracy in the services they provide. This service is especially useful in highly populated urban and indoor environments. The ability to operate well in these environments can be a game changer as mobile subscribers are usually found in these areas. The solution also allows wireless operators to provide various consumer and enterprise location-based services to the end users.
