Provider of cloud connectivity, virtual mobility and enterprise communications solutions, ADTRAN (News - Alert), was today honored with not one, but two 2012 Internet Telephony Product of the Year Awards from TMC. Both the NetVanta 1535P Gigabit Ethernet Switch with ActivReach and the Bluesocket (News - Alert) virtual WLAN (vWLAN) solution were recognized as among the most innovative VoIP communication solutions introduced in the last year.

ADTRAN's NetVanta 1535P Gigabit Ethernet Switch offers a high degree of flexibility when designing networks across a variety of cable-plant infrastructures and across longer distances. The solutions ActiveReach technology allows businesses to leverage their existing voice-grade wiring to access cutting-edge IP services at speeds of up to 100 Mbps, eliminating the need for infrastructure upgrading.

Bluesocket vWLAN, meanwhile, is the first cloud-based solution for carriers wanting to utilize the benefits and efficiencies of mobile offload. When combined with ADTRAN's portfolio of mobile backhaul solutions, Bluesocket vWLAN enables control from a central point in a network, eliminating the need for hardware-based controllers. This allows for extreme scalability in Wi-Fi networks, in turn allowing carriers to reduce cost and simplify management.

In September, ADTRAN received the 2011 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award from TMC (News - Alert) for its Optical Networking Edge (ONE) solution. The ONE solution offers service providers a flexible, efficient network architecture that can scale to support bandwidth-intensive applications and services for residential and business users.

More recently, the company announced enhancements to its award-winning Channel Partner Program, which are designed to expand financial incentives and rewards at all partnership levels, while supporting the needs of each business model.
