Ruckus Wireless and Intermec (News - Alert) collaborated to merge their technologies to deliver Wi-Fi enabled rugged mobile solutions that can be deployed to improve supply chain workflows and performance within distribution center (DC) and manufacturing operations.

Now Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi technology can be utilized to seamlessly link Intermec solutions to backend warehouse management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Warehouses, DCs and terminals are often cited as challenging radio frequency environments and Ruckus technology can sort out the performance issues present in these environments by removing RF dead spots and boosting signal coverage.
