Not too long ago Ericsson (News - Alert) had announced its intentions to acquire a U.K. media services company named Red Bee Media. This week Ericsson completed its acquisition. Red Bee is considered to be one of the world’s top media brand with a focus on advertising and marketing creation.


Thanks to the ongoing deployments of LTE (News - Alert) networks into more regions, Voice over IP solutions are also expanding into more markets. This is bringing about a lot of interest in VoIP companies. Partnerships with these companies are seen as a wise future investment. With this in mind Teltek has partnered with Zultys.

It seems that we keep hearing more reports in the news of companies being hacked into and information stolen. Preventing occurrences such as this becomes more than just a concern for contact centers. In an attempt to add some much need security to this market, Pindrop Security and secure voice biometrics company AGNITiO, announced a partnership geared to protect contact centers as they adapt to an increasingly mobile customer base.

Holdings is a South African company specializing in information technology services, with operations on every inhabited continent. This week, they have acquired Teliris (News - Alert). This is a cloud video managed services firm. This will be a great help with another deal Dimension Data announced with Microsoft.

Four year old company Pinterest seems to be attracting a lot of attention from investors. In fact, we are looking at hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of interest. Could it be that Pinterest has its mind set on charging at Google on head on? It does appear that this seems to be their game plan.

We like to know that any information that the government has on us is secure. That is not too much to ask for is it? A partnership announced this week between PerfectCloud and GOVonomy could just be the ticket that the government is looking for to provide the type of security that we all expect and in actuality demand.
