ISO Improves Productivity and Customer Service With Compiere ERP

Compiere Inc., a global provider of open source and cloud-based ERP solutions, has announced that the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) has improved productivity, streamlined business processes and enhanced customer service with Compiere ERP.

ISO is known as the world’s largest developer and publishers of International Standards for the public and private sectors. This organization selected Compiere ERP based on its proven success in reducing business process complexities, lowering IT infrastructure costs, ease of integration with internal systems and flexibility to make changes quickly and cost effectively through the company’s Model Driven Application Platform

Compiere enables ISO to have a fully integrated application that supports marketing, direct and online sales, accounting and purchasing activities. The ERP solution helps to consolidate ISO’s product offerings that consist of International Standards and publications and products developed with ISO Standards.

The company is also supporting ISO’s pricing structure, inventory, subscriptions services for ISO standards and magazines, in addition to invoicing and all related financial processes, including accounting and purchasing.

By working closely with Compiere Gold Partner, Audaxis, ISO was able to customize and implement Compiere to create an integrated system with a robust webstore and a comprehensive back-office system using Compiere ERP.

Nicolas Fleury, Director of Marketing and Communication at ISO, said in a Wednesday statement, “Compiere’s integrated features enabled us to replace a multi-applications sales and accounting infrastructure built with complex, costly interfaces with a unique, state-of-the-art application.

Customer service initiatives are taking on even more importance in this sluggish economy as businesses in nearly every industry are fighting over fewer customer dollars. As such, the demand for solutions such as Compiere ERP is growing. As the company continues to deliver measureable improvements, it will be able to generate its own demand and expand its market reach.
