Open Source CRM's Intelestream, GrinMark Form Strategic Partnership

Chicago-based Intelestream, an open source customer relationship management consulting, reportedly has announced that it’s formed a strategic partnership with GrinMark to provide North American customers with a Microsoft Office add-in for SugarCRM (News - Alert), intelecrm and [email protected] applications.

 

Intelestream is also expected to offer other Grinmark software solutions including the Activities Monitor, Travel Calendar, and GrinMark Machine Parks.

 

“A GrinMark and Intelestream partnership makes a lot of sense,” said Alexey Grinevich, CEO at GrinMark, add-ing that the company has developed a great product and now Intelestream can help the company by expanding it deeper into the Open Source CRM arena.

 

Intelestream said that it recommends the add-in as an affordable solution for users that depend on both MS Office and Open Source CRM applications when doing business. The solution integrates the two environments.

 

It features a rich functionality that includes Outlook Integration—contact synchronization; email archiving to multiple objects within the CRM; CRM lead creation from within Outlook.

 

Additional functionalities include archiving Microsoft (News - Alert) Office files to multiple Objects within the CRM and Advanced GrinMark activity monitor. Company officials said that the supported file types include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.

 

There is a central portal for monitoring all calls, meetings, tasks, and reminders, and also multiple users can observe activities. Create Mail Merge documents with MS Word add-ing data automatically from the CRM:

 

Also, functionality includes integration with Windows Explorer “Send To” menu – PDF documents, images and other files now can be archived to the CRM directly from the desktop or other folder window.

 

As part of a CRM implementation package or as a stand-alone product, the GrinMark MS Office Add-in is available for purchase through Intelestream. Officials said that the floating software license allows a single user to log on at home, at work, or on the road.

 

Additionally, The GrinMark MS Office Add-in is available for Intelestream's remotely hosted intelecrm product.
