TMC and Interactive Media Strategies (News - Alert) have revealed that Adobe Systems, Inc., has become the latest sponsor of the Business Video Expo, taking place Feb. 2 to 4, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. TMC (News - Alert) also announced that Pritham Shetty, vice president of Product Management and Engineering for Rich Media Solutions at Adobe, has been added to the list of keynote presenters at ITEXPO.
The Business Video Conference & Expo assembles some of the industry’s foremost thought leaders and technology innovators who are pioneering the use of video in corporate settings. The conference content discusses the strategies and applications for incorporating video within the corporate communications mix.

Pritham Shetty is scheduled to address the entire ITEXPO audience on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 4:30. Shetty works closely with customers to help define Adobe’s product strategy and roadmap. He also manages the Flash engineering team to develop next-generation technology around the distribution and protection of audio and video based on the Adobe Flash Platform to multiple devices. Shetty joined Adobe in 2005 as part of the Macromedia acquisition. At Macromedia, Shetty was the architect and co-creator of video delivered to the Flash Platform, which powers the top 25 video properties in the U.S.
Prior to Macromedia, Shetty co-founded LikeMinds in 1994. The company’s flagship product was a recommendation and personalization engine that was later acquired by Macromedia. Shetty holds a bachelor’s and master’s in computer science and holds various patents around streaming technologies.
Much of the content presented at the Business Video Expo will discuss how video has matured from a corporate novelty into an essential component in the business communications mix. Additional sessions will address content strategies leveraging YouTube (News - Alert), mobile video for today’s latest hand-held devices, and strategies for using social media and search engines to promote business video.
