AFORE CloudLink Powers EMC Encryption as a Service Offering

Cloud technology is here to stay. But companies that take to the cloud often worry about its security. Many companies are hesitant to adapt cloud technology as they feel that their data is not fully secure in this evolving technology.

So, various companies have been trying to strengthen the security aspects of cloud. One such company, AFORE Solutions, Inc., has an that its CloudLink SecureVSA has been selected as the data security foundation for the EMC (News - Alert) Encryption as a Service (EaaS) solution.

With the help of EMC EaaS, customers can get simple to deploy, pay-as-you-go data encryption. It complements existing as-a-Service offerings and makes it easier for Cloud Service Providers to promote cloud adoption among their customers. They can also look for new opportunities in this domain with enhanced security features over the cloud.

To encrypt data in multi-tenant public, private and hybrid clouds, AFORE CloudLink SecureVSA makes use of a software defined storage encryption layer between virtualized applications and physical storage arrays. It makes deploying cloud applications easier and also improves security as it supports granular encryption on a per-application. As CloudLink is combined with EMC Encryption, it provides clients with an opportunity to secure virtualized and cloud workloads.
