Nexmo Partners with Telefonica O2

Nexmo, a cloud communication API company, recently announced that it has joined hands with Telefonica (News - Alert) O2, a digital communications company. As per the terms of the partnership, Telefonica O2 will use Nexmo’s cloud-to-mobile API to improve the quality of delivery during A2P messaging. Moreover, Telefonica O2 (News - Alert) will provide its message termination services to Nexmo for A2P traffic to O2 subscribers in the U.K., as well as to Telefonica subscribers in additional European countries.

Nexmo provides innovative communication APIs that bridge traditional voice and text services with cloud communications. Nexmo enables applications and enterprises to make phone calls or send and receive text messages with ease to improve user experiences, no matter where in the world customers are located.

High-volume communication companies such as Alibaba, Airbnb, and Hailo send millions of messages per month using Nexmo APIs.

Nexmo also recently signed a partnership agreement with Wayra, the global start-up accelerator. Wayra provides entrepreneurs access to technology, mentors, workspace and financing to help accelerate their growth and develop global businesses. 

With the partnership, companies participating in the accelerator can gain access to Nexmo's communications-as-a-service solutions and comprehensive cloud-based APIs at a reduced price.
