Mitel (News - Alert), a company that provides business communications solutions, recently announced that its cloud solution has greatly benefitted Brown & Brown Insurance, a company that provides a range of insurance, reinsurance products and related services. Since migrating to Mitel’s single cloud-based platform, Brown & Brown has been able to improve the coordination between its offices, ensuring faster services. Also, the company has been able to cut down greatly on maintenance costs.
Mitel’s single cloud-based platform allows channel partners to customize services, cut hardware and IT costs, free up resources, gain new efficiencies, leverage flexible deployment and migration, and above all enjoy a host of capabilities. The scalable solution includes rich collaboration tools including mobility, presence and video conferencing. It can be integrated with other popular cloud services, including Google applications, Microsoft (News

"As we added new locations, we began to realize how important business communications was for our operations and how limiting our outdated, disparate system had become. Mitel's cloud expertise helped us to leverage our private cloud to consolidate business communications onto a single platform with our other mission-critical applications," said Brian Panico, corporate IT director, Brown & Brown Insurance. "Now communications are seamless and efficient. Better yet, with the cloud we are fully prepared to take advantage of future solutions that will help us further streamline our business and improved business continuity planning."
In related news, Mitel recently launched its MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS offering for channel partners in Canada to provide comprehensive communications solutions as a cloud-based service. Offering the best path to cloud communications for service providers and customers, Mitel has already enlisted a growing list of business partners in Canada to provide the solution and continues to recruit more. This is the third major market launch of MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS since Mitel first introduced the service for the U.S. market six months ago.
