Terremark Worldwide, Inc. providing managed IT infrastructure services has upgraded its Enterprise Cloud computing platform. The new features include Dynamic Capacity Management, which allow Enterprise Cloud customers more flexibility in accessing on-demand computing capacity.
Dynamic Capacity Management offers a flexible “burst mode” for Enterprise Cloud-based computing environments. This helps clients access more computational power. This feature required during processing and memory resources offers real-time access to more computing capacity. Clients can now address transient spikes flexibly during usage.

Brian Corrigan, CTO of Agora Games noted that the flexibility of increasing the computing resources with a burst of speed according to the business helps optimize performance of the IT environment. The Enterprise Cloud is a reliable and dynamic platform and is expected to become more efficient with upgrades like Dynamic Capacity Management being incorporated into it.
Terremark’s Enterprise Cloud is powered by its Infinistructure computing platform. It makes use of Terredata’s data centers and diverse network connectivity. The Enterprise Cloud is a Web application enabling customers to provision servers from a pool of dedicated computing resources.
Servers can be configured and provisioned and then grouped and organized according to the function. Several pre-configured server roles across Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows, Linux and Sun Solaris operating systems are available. More than 160 global carriers have provided plug-and-play bandwidth on demand. Besides, the portal also has a reporting interface which gives details of resource use and application performance.
