Cloud Contact Center Company Five9 Ups the Incentives for Its Successful Referral Program

In a crowded contact center technology marketplace, companies are forever looking for better ways to get their message out. As more and more contact centers move to the cloud, they are facing a dizzying variety of prospective solutions, and cutting through the noise is becoming a challenge. Cloud-based contact center solutions provider Five9 (News - Alert) has a very successful referral program launched six years ago which encourages contact center professionals to refer Five9 to colleagues or friends. The company recently announced it has upped the incentive and the potential benefit for members by 300 percent. Individuals making successful referrals that lead to a sale can now earn a 15 percent commission for up to two years, said the company in a recent statement. Registration in the referral program is free. Individuals wishing to register fill out the short online form on Five9’s Web site, at which time they receive an email with a Member ID. They can then use that ID on the company’s Web site to submit referrals to the Five9 sales team.
"The Five9 Referral Program is a great way for contact center professionals to earn sales commissions to supplement or even replace their current income,” said Walt Rossi, vice president of business development at Five9. “Since we launched the program in 2008, thousands of members have realized the benefits. Because of the traction we've seen, Five9 is investing even more in the program and tripling the potential benefits for members."
According to the company, a valid referral is defined as a named contact with company affiliation and contact information determined by Five9 as having an interest in purchasing contact center software. Payment for successful referrals is issued on a monthly basis after Five9 receives payment from the companies that have been referred. The incentive applies to referrals that result in a sale to a new user, not an established customer of Five9.
