Trimble Showcases GeoManager WorkManagement at Microsoft Convergence 2011

Trimble (News - Alert), a leading provider of solutions focused on applications requiring position or location including surveying, construction, agriculture, fleet and asset management, public safety and mapping, has recently announced it will be demonstrating its Trimble GeoManager WorkManagement. The Trimble GeoManager WorkManagement, a new cloud-based field service solution, will be integrated with Microsoft Dynamics CRM at Microsoft Convergence (News - Alert) 2011 event which is being held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Trimble will be occupying the Microsoft Dynamics booth, #1420, during the event.

In a release, the Dynamics ISV Architect Evangelist, Microsoft (News - Alert) Corporation, John O'Donnell, said that, "This integration delivers geographically referenced information and fleet data straight to our CRM system, giving our customers real insight into their day-to-day field service operations. When you combine Trimble's real-time schedule optimization plus GPS and GIS fleet management capabilities with Dynamics' CRM, the result is a powerful set of tools our customers can use to optimize their businesses and improve their bottom lines."

Microsoft Dynamics, a major product of the Microsoft Corporation, is primarily a line of simple to learn and use ERP and CRM solutions that work with client’s existing technology and provide scalability with long-term value. The software and online services work exactly the way people and organizations work, so businesses are able to make better and informed decisions as well as adapt to rapid changes. The Trimble GeoManager WorkManagement, a software solution, provides on-demand visibility into vehicle and mobile worker utilization for planning, measuring, communicating, routing, scheduling, dispatch, and to execute mobile work, thereby maximizing the mobile workday. This allows users to offer better customer service as and help improve productivity and reduce overall operating costs. WorkManagement provides an optional Web Services component which offers an open environment for Microsoft developers and value-added resellers (VARs) to create extensible applications using the Trimble WorkManagement and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
