Infor, a provider of business application software, recently announced that its Infor LN solution has been selected by MEDISERV, a supplier of medical supplies and laboratory equipment in Saudi Arabia. This easy-to-use enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution will help MEDISERV further improve customer service through seamless data integration and reduced customizations.
Infor LN delivers flexibility in operations and strength in financials, which provides clients complete visibility and control across organization with the flexibility to make adjustments as their business evolves. The companies deploying Infor LN can eliminate the time and cost involved in customization since the solution features functionality tailored specifically for their business processes. The solution is designed for ETO, MTO, and complex product manufacturers and features industry-specific KPI dashboards.
"Based on the fast moving nature of the healthcare supplies and services business in Saudi Arabia, we have to respond swiftly to our customers' needs within a short timeline," said Mr. Hisham Jaber, National Operations and IT manager, MEDISERV. "Because it is engineered for speed, Infor LN is the right fit in driving us to achieving our business objectives and eventually satisfying our customer needs."
Infor helps 73,000 customers in more than 200 countries and territories improve operations, drive growth, and quickly adapt to changes in business demands. The company provides flexible deployment options that give customers a choice to run their businesses in the cloud, on-premises, or both.
In related news, Ferrari recently expanded its relationship with Infor and invested in Infor Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Following previous investment in Infor ERP LN, S&OP is set to replace legacy systems and a spreadsheet-based set of processes, resulting in faster, more agile decision making within the supply chain planning process.
S&OP will provide automated workflows to help Ferrari guarantee the flow of information across demand (from approximately 200 dealers) and supply (into production). The improved accuracy of data, standardized planning and information flow processes and enhanced functionality of S&OP will enable comprehensive tracking of any changes in dealer demand and the subsequent changes to the Ferrari production plan, as well as help improve governance, the approval process and compliance.
