Cegedim Dendrite Launches Blackberry Smart Phone Version of CRM Solution 'Mobile Intelligence'

Cegedim Dendrite, a company that offers ‘Customer Relationship Management’ or ‘CRM’ solutions to the life sciences industry, has reportedly announced that its new CRM suite, Mobile Intelligence is now available for the BlackBerry (News - Alert) smart phone customers.
The company currently holds more than 35 percent share of the pharmaceutical CRM solutions market the world over. As it has now become a norm for the life sciences commercial teams to be equipped with a laptop or tablet PC, visual sales aids, a bag and a mobile phone, what most companies look for is convenience, simplicity and the right amount of functionality within the unified communication and productivity tools they give their teams.
The Mobile Intelligence application for BlackBerry smart phone by Cegedim Dendrite works in seamless integration with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. The application is able to comply with most of the prominent messaging systems, some of which are Microsoft Exchange, IBM (News - Alert) Lotus Domino and Novell GroupWise.
The people belonging to the life sciences industry who use a BlackBerry smart phone with the Mobile Intelligence application installed, can access competent route planning, customer profiles, daily organizer, pre-call and post call functionality specifically designed to improve their productivity and minimize their administrative tasks.
Traditionally, the Mobile Intelligence Suite had been developed for laptops and tablet devices, and this advanced version of the application features all the functionalities of those versions, with some added features specifically included for the BlackBerry smart phones.
The application is available via single or multi-tenant SaaS (News - Alert) delivery, and costs a perpetual license so that the customers get maximum flexibility in selecting the option that best fits their needs.
According to Laurent Labrune, CEO of Cegedim Dendrite, BlackBerry smart phones help commercial teams carry one device to communicate with their key stakeholders, organize their schedule, as well as access vital information stored in their Mobile Intelligence CRM system. Earlier, Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, selected and implemented a Saas version of the Mobile Intelligence on Demand application by Cegedim Dendrite, in June 2009.
Later, in the month of September this year, the company announced it would make the latest version of its CRM solution, Mobile Intelligence 5.0 commercial available for users.
