SAP has announced the addition of its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution suite and a third party collaborative configurator (TPCC) application to its SAP Business All-in-One (BAiO) solutions.

BAiO is principally an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool customized for a wide range of industries such as automotive, banking, media, life sciences, and oil and gas, built to accommodate a few or all of the 700 SAP (News - Alert) ERP modules depending on the growth and requirement of the customer.

The new BAiO targets mid-sized enterprises and automates cost estimation as well as allows interactive online business model configuration.
Also, the newly included TPCC is installable on partners Websites to jointly display their own unique solutions and BAiO’s functionality. This approach spreads the market reach for BAiO and its partners, and provides customers with a range of solutions to choose from.

The CRM integration is currently available in Germany with global availability planned shortly. It tracks, records and leverages current and prospective customers’ contacts, and enables companies to propose upcoming business solutions aligned with customer’s roadmaps, hence building in a competitive advantage.
Solution integrators have been test run successfully and now are functional in at least 2,600 companies in 47 countries. BAiO claims that it requires just four steps for a company to feed in its business specific ERP requirements and then get a fully mapped, optimized hardware and software proposal for agile functioning.
Its predictive analysis is designed to keep costs at the lowest possible, convert business opportunities into quick turn-around confirmed orders and propose infrastructural scale up requirements to facilitate more demanding ventures.
"The solution configurator from SAP gave us the comfort to navigate through the SAP Business All-in-One solutions with ease, and because of the configurator's vast amount of information, we were able to document our needs and receive a listing of recommended business scenarios,” said Paul Minjauw, CFO of Enfinity, a Belgian renewable energy producer that required to implement ERP to handle its growing business.

"We believe that SAP´s decision to open the tool to partners will give us great opportunities to offer our own industry-specific solutions to their full extent and will provide a great way to reach new potential customers," said Holger Behrens, member of the Board.
