Amcom Software Releases Smart Console Call Center Solution

Amcom Software, Inc. has reportedly released enhanced version of its Smart Console call center software, designed to handle mission-critical communications and reduce both costs and operator fatigue.
Minneapolis-based Amcom Software provides technology solutions for organizations that depend on speed, accuracy, and productivity to manage mission-critical, day-to-day, emergency and event-driven communications.
The new version comes with advanced new features such fast directory searches, paging and messaging, as well as capabilities such as automatic displays of incoming calls, single-button call transfers, conferencing, speed dialing, and other telephony functions.
According to the company, console solutions empower operators to process calls quickly and accurately, providing callers with a higher level of customer service. It provides a single digital view of all the information an operator needs. And also has a team chat capability that helps operators to stay connected to share useful information quickly.
Amcom claims to pull information from all relevant sources including ERP, HR and clinical systems. Information access is efficient and always based upon up-to-date information, company officials said.
New Console is helpful to IT teams to leverage advanced integration with new telephony devices from providers as well as the ability to run Smart Console on the Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows Vista operating system. They’re also able to maintain communications in the event of a network outage by utilizing a local copy of Smart Console.
Also, System administrators can take advantage of the smart client technology that allows software updates to be tested on a single PC and then automatically distributed to all operator PCs. This ensures that all operators are using the latest software without administrators needing to update each workstation individually. They can also maintain standardized communications with configurable message templates and tailor the application as needed to meet operational requirements.
