eG Innovations, a provider of service performance management solutions, announced that Gartner (News - Alert) has included the company in the 2011 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring (APM).

There are 27 vendors in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for APM (News - Alert). To be included in the Magic Quadrant, companies must have global presence; they must have at least 50 customers who use APM products; and their products must support two of the key APM functionalities as defined by Gartner.

Gartner evaluated eG Innovations' APM solution on four of the dimensions of APM functionality including end-user experience monitoring, application run-time architecture discovery, modeling and display, component deep-dive monitoring in application context and application performance analytics, company officials said.
