AppDynamics has partnered with RightScale to help companies with mission-critical Java applications deployment as well application performance monitoring in the cloud.
RightScale is a provider of cloud computing management solutions. Thanks to this new partnership, the company is integrating its cloud management platform with AppDynamics’ Java performance monitoring capabilities.
The integration is expected to create a complete application infrastructure designed to help companies deploy, scale, and monitor their Java applications quickly and easily.
Josh Fraser (News
- Alert), vice president of business development at RightScale, said that AppDynamics offers a compelling solution for companies who need root-cause analysis and visibility into their mission-critical Java applications.
“This partnership further broadens the ISV offerings in our MultiCloud Marketplace, and enables our customers to easily deploy enterprise-grade APM (News - Alert) that was designed from the ground up for the complexity of cloud environments,” Fraser said.
Company officials said that users who have deployed their application via RightScale will be able to access and launch AppDynamics within minutes to begin monitoring performance. This will help them gain real-time insight into the health of the application's business transactions and helping maintain full uptime and availability.
“Ensuring the performance of cloud-based applications is of paramount importance for companies seeking to leverage the agility and cost savings of the cloud,” said Stuart Horne, vice president of Business Development at AppDynamics.
Horne said that the company is complementing RightScale’s easy-to-use application deployment capabilities with a solution for managing application performance used by enterprise companies such as Netflix, Priceline, ZipRealty, and Cornell University.
Earlier this month, AppDynamics real-time application monitoring solution was integrated with the SOASTA (News - Alert) CloudTest Platform.
