Advanced embedded solutions provider RadiSys Corporation this week again is hosting its traditional Technology Day as it focuses on the increasing integration of openly embedded systems and trends for the coming decade.

 

In recent years, the Oregon-based company has been changing the way these managed ATCA platforms are delivered, especially given the emergence of commercial off-the-shelf hardware platforms, Carrier Grade Linux and management middleware which has had a significant impact on the market.

 

RadiSys (News - Alert) also provides advanced embedded solutions for the communications networking and commercial systems markets for OEMs.

 

Now, embedded systems are at the forefront of the technology space and are expected to play an increasingly important role in applied research and practical conversion for innovative solutions.

 

In addition, the company, and its partners, will focus on which solutions are ready for development and can be easily folded into new systems and the ones that can be expected over the next years.

 

As TMCnet recently reported, in a recent white paper from RadiSys, the company called the integration of these technologies a “daunting task” and one which is still in its infancy in terms of being truly addressed.

 

Advanced embedded solutions provider RadiSys has been busy showing off its roster of solutions of late, most recently last month with its Industrial Automation, Medical and AdvancedTCA (News - Alert) at the RBC Capital Markets' 2009 Technology, Media and Communications Conference in San Francisco.
