The paperless software solutions, which have been specifically designed to help organizations capture, manage and protect their data, already available for the iOS platform, enables easy access to files and secure control of documents that help increase business efficiency, noted officials.

Customer demand for an Android app that did the same propelled eFileCabinet to come up with a new solution that is expected to serve the fast growing base of Android devices and users. In fact, officials noted that the recent app has been received with “great fanfare by its customers.”

The Android app is available for both smartphones and tablets. In addition to allowing users to access files, they can preview files, download and open documents in other apps, edit, e-mail, scan, upload and even customize security settings.

"Our biggest goal is to enable small businesses to increase their efficiencies and profits and we do that with our paperless software which can now be accessed by any mobile device at any time and at any location,” said Matt Peterson, CEO at eFileCabinet, in a statement.

Initially designed to be a tool to digitally store records in accounting firms, eFileCabinet has evolved over time and expanded its offerings to develop a complete suite of enterprise content management solutions that securely store, share and protect valuable and confidential data..

The company claims that it is the trusted choice for more than 24,000 users worldwide that unshackles staff from the confines of managing loads of documents and piles of paper in offices.

Recently, eFileCabinet partnered with electronic signature software company RightSignature LLC, digital signatures will be available across the suite of eFileCabinet products, enabling users to quickly and easily collect signatures online.
