CALLUP Paints the Cloud with Value Added Services

With service providers and cellular operators becoming increasingly reluctant to pay more towards operating costs, they are turning to the cloud in greater numbers to find relief. CALLUP, determined not to let them down, has launched a set of cloud-based, value added services: ‘CanVAS in the cloud.’

CALLUP’s cloud-based services are hosted on Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) (AWS) platform, which ensures an uninterrupted level of service. Operator's applications are automatically backed up and all private data and messages are encrypted on entry point and decrypted on exit point.

With CanVAS, come the many benefits of services in the cloud. Operators can monitor their own apps and customize services using the self-tailoring wizard. They can also eliminate the hassle of being responsible for availability and upgrades; that’s CALLUP’s headache.

Also, carriers and operators don’t have to worry about buying extra hardware to cater to sudden surges in demand nor do they have to pay extra software licenses in advance. There is a small setup for day-to-day traffic that automatically expands when loads are high. Services are reliable and flexible. A sophisticated cost management system allows usage adjustment according to load. Operators pay according to usage, no more –no less.

CALLUP services include voice mail, interactive voice response, SMS and MMS centers, personal ring back tone, multimedia transcoding gateway and more.
