With the recent Cloudforce 2 Tour in NYC last week, CRM sales software, CRM cloud computing and customer service software provider Salesfore.com had quite a week in terms of breaking headlines and making history.
In fact, Salesforce.com (News - Alert) announced that over 20 companies released new applications on the company's Chatter product, allowing call center agents a diversified appliance to improve business operations.
One of those 20 companies was Cameleon Software, a provider of product design, sales configuration, quotes and proposals software, which launched its new app on Salesforce.com's ChatterExchange, CameleonCloud CPQ.
Helping to accelerate the market shift to Cloud 2, the next cloud computing paradigm, Cameleon Software's solution is among the first apps to leverage the social components of Chatter now available in the Force.com platform. These new apps can all be found on the ChatterExchange, a category for social enterprise apps which is part of AppExchange 2.
Salesforce Chatter provides a suite of social collaboration components including profiles, status updates, and real-time feeds that developers and partners are now using to build new social enterprise apps. The ChatterExchange, a new category on AppExchange 2, provides a single location for customers to buy solutions that can extend the benefits of cloud computing and social-enabled business.
With CameleonCloud CPQ for Salesforce, companies can quickly react to market changes by reducing time-to-market for products and services by enabling product marketing to leveraging design apps to manage launches.
