HD video conferencing provider, LifeSize (News - Alert) is continuing to improve their user's overall experience, and according to this user group post, have release LifeSize Software version 3.5. The latest update includes improvements to the user experience as well as a host of new features.

As part of the latest software version, LifeSize has increased bandwidth for their LifeSize Room, LifeSize Team MP, and LifeSize Express and video bandwidth availability has been increased across ISDN

networked calls with support for the G.728 low bandwidth audio codec.
According to the company's announcement, the latest version also includes camera and audio enhancements, embedded MCU improvements, more directory capabilities, a save and restore capability for administrators to restore the system information from the Web administration interface or via the CLI.
JPEG Snapshots have also been added as a feature with the latest version and are available through Call Manager in the web administration interface, providing administrators a video image across near and far end cameras
Recently, LifeSize was awarded Product of the Year for their LifeSize Express offering by Unified Communications (News - Alert) magazine.
LifeSize Express offers HD video conferencing that is affordable and easy to use and helps replace the need to travel to have face to face meetings.
