Indosoft Unveils Web Services API for Q-Suite Multi-tenant Contact Center Software

In an effort to simplify cloud services integration, Indosoft (News - Alert) Inc., a provider of contact center technology solutions for Asterisk, has released web services API for its multi-tenant contact center software Q-Suite.

The company hopes that its web services API for Q-Suite will simplify integration with third party applications. Cloud platform services providers, in particular, will be able to offer contact center services using Q-Suite and leverage the API to automate and simplify the service offerings, cited sources.

Q-Suite is scalable, multi-tenant contact center software developed for the technology stack Asterisk (News - Alert), Linux, Apache, and MySQL. It offers fault tolerance against system failure through its high availability (HA) system, which is based on the company’s patented call survival technology.

Segregating different tenants into separate partitions with common management of resources, Q-Suite is capable of scaling to multiple Asterisk servers.  With the help of this software, a single tenant can run multiple geographically separated distributed contact center operations. In addition, Q-Suite allows role-based access for tenant activities through its admin screens, as well as through the API. 

“Having a powerful web services API will empower Cloud service providers to automate and personalize the contact center services,” said Gabe Bourque, CEO of Indosoft, in a statement. “From setting up phones within the multi-tenant PBX (News - Alert) to controlling the multi-channel ACD queues for the tenants, the web services API offer a powerful method for unifying the PBX and call center ACD operations within the Cloud service platform."

The company explained that the new Q-Suite web services API will help in automating administrative tasks using external applications. For the reason that, almost all of the functionality available through the standard admin interface of Q-Suite can be made available through web services API.

Managing everything from the setup of tenants to the day-to-day management of the contact center solution, the Q-Suite web services APIs helps in accomplishing tasks such as contact center automatic call distribution (ACD), real-time and historical reporting, and CRM integration.
