This fall, one lucky company will win 24 months of free hosted VoIP

and unified communications from Cypress Communications (News - Alert), when the provider’s “Get Your VoIP On” promotion culminates with a grand prize drawing on September 18 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
The promotion was launched Monday.
Cypress is offering quite a grand prize: two years of free communications services, valued at $100,000. Included in the prize is PBX (News - Alert) functionality, IP

phones (with power-over-Ethernet, firmware, maintenance and management), PC-based phone software, collaboration tools, voicemail and unified messaging, file sharing, instant messaging, audio and Web conferencing, desktop video, remote office and mobility functionality, real-time presence tools, Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook integration, and click-to-call capabilities.
Further, the winner will receive dedicated circuits, routers(s) with management and maintenance, virtual local area network

(VLAN) management, private IP network access, managed voice and data quality, Internet bandwidth and a dedicated local and national team to handle installation, training and support.
The winning entrant may opt to distribute the awarded VoIP and UC services among multiple office locations.
Any business located in one of the 29 major metro areas serviced by Cypress in the U.S. is eligible to apply in the contest. Entries will be accepted until September 16 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
Frank Grillo (News - Alert), executive vice president of marketing at Cypress, noted that it’s well-known hosted VoIP

and UC solution can help workers communicate better, work more efficiently and become more productive.
“Much like the PC once transformed business, hosted VoIP and unified communications are reinventing the way in which we communicate by bringing presence, collaboration and video right to the desktop,” Grillo said. “Unified communications could very well be one of the most transformative technologies of the 21st century.”
He added that the Get Your VoIP On promotion is designed to raise awareness about the benefits of unified communications, and give one lucky entrant a chance to experience the full power of this technology by getting to try out Cypress’ C4 IP solution and associated support for two years.
