IP communications leader AireSpring (News - Alert) has news for organizations out there – it can take standard MPLS and make it better and more affordable.

Thanks to AireSpring’s MPLS Mesh network, the ultimate product for organizations requiring secure T-1 and higher speed data networks with private network security, customers no longer have to find a carrier who can cover all of the remote offices.

AireSpring’s next generation solution meshes the networks of many of the top carriers across its award-winning IP network to deliver the largest MPLS coverage in the nation and the lowest cost, according to AireSpring’s Senior Vice President of Marketing Todd Regan.

So what makes this product stand out in the marketplace?

“There is really no comparison,” Regan told TMCnet in a recent interview. “Why would anyone go with a single carrier option anymore? With MPLS Mesh, customers can pick and choose carriers based upon price and availability. That means that the customer always gets the lowest rate and the widest coverage available.”

“Suddenly MPLS isn’t just a want-to-have product, it is an affordable must-have solution for nearly all multi location companies,” he added. “And if all that wasn’t reason enough to pick up a phone and call AireSpring, we also have the ability to layer voice trunking on top of the MPLS network as well. That’s what you call a one . . . two . . . knock-out!”

Some of the key features of the MPLS Mesh network include: lowest rates across multiple carrier networks; voice over MPLS (VoMPLS) available; single bill and single point of contact; custom solutions to deliver the architecture that you need and the ability to combine networks from multiple carriers, among other things.

The product is ideal for any company with two or more offices and for any customers who want to transition from traditional VPN or packet based solutions to the more efficient, secure and economical IP-VPN solutions, according to company officials.

“With data security being absolutely mission critical for any company, there is just too much risk sending important files and email across the public internet,” Regan said. “MPLS bridges that gap by routing traffic directly from office to office without touching the public internet. AireSpring MPLS Mesh takes that a step further by making MPLS affordable and allowing your voice calls to be carried securely across that network as well. That means you can get all of your voice and data across the same circuit without the need of installing separate voice, internet and MPLS solutions. It couldn’t be easier.”
