Allstream, a Canadian IP communications provider, will be using NetCracker (News - Alert) 9 suite to transform its end-to-end order management and service fulfillment capabilities. This announcement has been made by NetCracker Technology.

Allstream, the only national communications provider in the country, works exclusively with business customers of all sizes with a coast-to-coast national IP fiber network.

This agreement includes NetCracker’s Customer Information Management, Service Order Management and Service Inventory solutions to Allstream’s current suite of NetCracker products, which include Customer Order Management, Product Information Management and Service Information Management.

This new end-to-end order management solution has been developed on Allstream’s use of NetCracker’s configure, price, quote and product catalog capabilities. It will support several major product lines.

Ray Lahoud, vice president of Network & Information Technology Services at Allstream said in a statement, “Our past success with NetCracker Technology made selecting them a natural choice for this project, we look forward to leveraging NetCracker’s expertise, delivery capabilities and proven solution assets.”

NetCracker’s 9.0 offers a foundation for Communication Service Providers (CSPs) and Multi-System Operators (MSOs) to meet the needs of their customers, unlock new revenue streams, and remain competitive in a crowded marketplace.
