With ITEXPO (News - Alert) behind us, there are still plenty of events and trade shows for telephony companies to participate in before the years end. Next up on the agenda for Grandstream is Astricon, the official conference for Asterisk, an open source PBX (News - Alert), telephony engine, and telephony applications toolkit. Astricon will be holding its seventh consecutive conference from Oct 26-28 2010 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.
AstriCon's goal is to continue raising awareness and knowledge of Asterisk (News - Alert) during the three-day conference and exhibition. This year's event has expanded to reach the broad group of professionals who design and manage large enterprise, government, and carrier networks. The conference will be full of content for Asterisk software developers, Digium's channel and technology partners, and business users from small, medium and large companies.
Grandstream Networks (News - Alert), a manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, serves the small-to-medium business and consumer markets with innovative products that lower communication costs, increase security protection, and enhance productivity.
Grandstream, a sponsor of Astricon, will be showcasing its open standard SIP-based products and services at the conference. Grandstream brings innovation to the IP communications market with exciting products of compelling values and differentiations.
Earlier this month at ITEXPO, Grandstream Networks announced the newest HD additions to its GXP series of desktop enterprise SIP telephones including the new Grandstream GXP2120 and GXP2100. Grandstream’s new GXP desktop telephones come packed with business productivity features and applications, HD audio quality and broad SIP interoperability with third party SIP platforms and devices.
