Bright House Networks, the sixth largest owner and operator of cable systems in the U.S. and the second largest in Florida, has entered into a strategic channel partnership agreement with Converged Network Services Group (CNSG), a telecommunications and data center consulting firm and Master Agent, based in Charlotte, NC.

Officials with Bright House Networks said that as a Bright House Networks Channel Partner (News - Alert), CNSG's large network of sub-agents and partners will now be able to offer the company's robust voice, Internet, and advanced managed services.

Company officials said that the new Channel Partner program has been created by the company to offer some of the best support for channel partners in the industry, and the company is committed to its continued growth.

“CNSG is pleased to be one of the first Master Agents in Bright House Networks’ new Channel Partner program,” said Matthew Harty, chief executive officer/president, CNSG, in a statement.

Harty said that their advanced product offerings and industry-leading hybrid fiber-coax and dedicated fiber networks are an excellent addition to the company’s agent partner's portfolio of products for enterprise customers.

“We are excited to launch our new Channel Partner program, and thrilled that CNSG is a part of our team,” said Craig Cowden, chief network officer and senior vice president, enterprise solutions, Bright House Networks.

Cowden said that CNSG provides its agents with dedicated resources throughout the telecommunications buying process and their commitment to service and support will be extremely helpful to Bright House Networks as the company continues to grow its commercial business.

TMCnet in February reported that Bright House Networks Enterprise Solutions had achieved Cisco (News - Alert) Master Service Provider certification.
