Medallia, a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) Customer Experience Management (CEM) solutions, announced the launch of Medallia Mobile Feedback for multiple mobile platforms including iPhone, Android (News - Alert), and BlackBerry.
The mobile feedback solution allows customers to fill out surveys without having to download any apps. It enables companies to launch a single survey on different mobile platforms while also enabling customers to quickly provide feedback on their phones.
Medallia Mobile Feedback works across multiple platforms, including iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry (News - Alert). It provides a mobile-friendly experience for customers. It also allows them to take immediate action, such as acknowledging a high score or responding to an unhappy customer.
"Mobile is increasingly how we communicate," said Borge Hald, CEO and co-founder of Medallia, in a statement. "There are more than a billion mobile devices and hundreds of millions of smartphones in use today. Medallia Mobile allows businesses to incorporate this key channel into their CEM programs. It collects, analyzes, and reports customer feedback across the most common mobile platforms."
An important feature of Medallia Mobile Feedback is that it supports the speech-to-text features in smartphones like that available in the newly introduced iPhone (News - Alert) 4S, so customers can speak their survey responses into their phones. "Because Medallia Mobile Feedback is so easy to use, more customers will complete a survey on their mobile devices while their experience is still fresh," said Hald.
Medallia also announced enhancements to its previously announced mobile reporting applications, Medallia Mobile for iPhone and iPad. Some of its new features include push notifications of alerts, which will encourage more frontline employees to use the mobile app.
Recently Medallia announced that that Medallia Text Analytics was honored with a 2011 TMC (News - Alert) Labs Innovation Award presented by Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMCnet) Customer Interaction Solutions magazine. The award recognizes Medallia for its achievement in advancing customer data analysis capabilities.
