A Singapore-based provider of VoIP products and solutions demonstrated its support for the move to mobile VoIP when it introduced a mobile application that makes it possible to use VoIP via any mobile phone.
Officials with REVE Systems claim their iTel Mobile Dialer is the perfect solution for service providers looking to quickly and easily launch mobile VoIP service.
Since launching, the offering has helped a number of companies add mobile VoIP services and has been enhanced to include compatibility with Windows Mobile version 5.0 & 6.0.
According to M. Rezaul Hassan, REVE Systems' CEO, enhanced versions of iTel Mobile Dialer will continue to be introduced as part of the company’s efforts to increase benefits for end users.
Operators across the world looking to capitalize on the increasingly low cost availability of GPRS service and mass deployment of Wi-Fi networks, can also brand the offering as needed and offer mobile VoIP services specifically from the company.
The mobile VoIP offering is designed for top performance even at lower bandwidths and supports NAT or firewall traversal.
Also, voice quality can be enhanced with the iTel Mobile Dialer thanks to the ability to choose a best-fit codec and a jitter buffer that allows for clear voice transmission.
One company TiCON Systems, a licensed VoIP operator in Korea, chose REVE Systems to help deliver its services to customers more cost effectively while keeping quality at a high standard. Commenting on the success of this partnership, TiCON’s chairman said the introduction of REVE System's VoIP solution meant the company would be able to offer more products at the right price and with less effort for its target group.
