Open source CRM provider, SugarCRM (News - Alert), has announced the beta release of new reporting and wireless capabilities for SugarCRM.
For SugarCRM users, this means more insight into sales effectiveness and customer behavior and with new wireless capabilities, a feature-rich SugarCRM user experience on mobile phones, including BlackBerry (News - Alert) and iPhone mobile handsets.
As part of the new enhancements, SugarCRM has said it also "strengthened data import features, enhanced the ability to create custom objects and modules with Sugar Module Builder, and introduced new tracking functionality which allows SugarCRM administrators to get a better view into system usage and performance."
“SugarCRM’s new wireless offering eliminates the traditional tradeoff between mobility and usability. Salespeople can now get the true Web-based experience of SugarCRM on their mobile phones,” said John Roberts (News - Alert), CEO of SugarCRM.
“Our new reporting analysis advances our product philosophy of making the complex simple by providing deep analytical and reporting tools in an easy-to-use interface.”
Using the new reporting and analytics features will make it possible for users to create complex reports across multiple modules as well as make it possible to create complex pivot tables in HTML

, and more. The new User Interface and Wizard offer a guided process that walks users through report creation.
Also, with the new wireless enhancements, search capabilities like the ability to more quickly find information is made possible.
And, with a new Tracker functionality, it's possible for SugarCRM to track how workers are using the system and how SugarCRM is performing.
