InfraDesk Service Desk Software Awarded Official ITIL Compliant Software

InteQ, a provider of On Demand IT Service Management, has announced that InfraDesk successfully achieved the Silver Level Process Compliance assessment under the ITIL Software Scheme.


The ITIL Software Scheme, established by the APM (News - Alert) Group through the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), is an independent program that validates service management tool vendors for ITIL process compliance.

Officials with InteQ said that the company is the first On Demand IT Service Management company to achieve such a high standard of accreditation, further cementing their position as a pioneer in the IT Service Management arena.

“We are extremely excited to receive this certification by APM Group, OGC’s official Accreditor. This accomplishment is important to our company, our customers and prospects for several reasons including the validation that InfraDesk is more than just an IT Service Management tool, it’s a solution built to ensure and adhere to ITIL supported best practices and processes,” said Yash Shah, president and CTO, InteQ, in a statement.

Shah said that as a company that has embraced ITIL, not only as an accredited training provider but as practitioners, the company understands the importance of adopting tools that provide a sophisticated level of automation that follow these guidelines.

Company officials pointed out that the Silver Level Process Compliance is awarded for processes for which the tool meets or exceeds the compound assessment criterion for the process and is deployed in production enabling the process in accordance with ITIL for at least three customers.

According to company officials, in order to receive the Silver Level Process Compliance award, InteQ was required to undergo an intensive assessment of InfraDesk 5.1 release.

InfraDesk is an On Demand IT Service Management solution that is currently being used by enterprises with users in over 30 countries. The solution is delivered with out-of-the-box ITIL-based processes enabling accelerated adoption and rollout of ITIL pre-built workflows.

Clients are able to successfully use InfraDesk to automate processes in accordance with ITIL upon implementation due to its intuitive user interface and InteQ’s Rapid Implementation Guides.
