Tadiran (News - Alert) Telecom has announced the availability of its newest application, the Coral SeaBeam, an advanced SIP
based VoIP softphone that is designed to integrate with Tadiran’s Coral IPx/FlexiCom and the Coral Sea Softswitch.
The new VoIP
softphone was created with the goal of providing essential office communications services to Coral users on the go.
The Coral SeaBeam softphone is based on SIP (session initiation protocol). The new offering supports voice, video, presence, and much more. Coral SeaBeam runs on Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows and functions as a terminal on both Coral IPx and FlexiCom systems as well as on Coral Sea Softswitch
systems.
Designed to be simple to install and cost effective for deployment, the Coral SeaBeam enables users to place and receive calls, launch conference calls, display and view presence and availability information, and control a multitude of other telephony features from the interface on the PC.
Other features include feature keys, an LCD-like display panel and a message waiting indicator.
According to company officials, the Coral SeaBeam supports open SIP standards for both voice and video over IP
and turns the host computer into an instant IP communications device.
The SeaBeam joins the impressive list of applications that Tadiran Telecom offers their customers.
Tadiran distributes IP communications solutions to some of the world’s largest companies and organizations across over 40 countries through authorized business partners.
