In a bid to make it even easier for customers to create advanced speech-enabled applications, Interact Incorporated has announced a partnership with Loquendo (News - Alert) to include Loquendo's speech engines on the company's new Voice and Information Processing (VIP) V6 platform.
Users have Loquendo TTS and Loquendo ASR technologies right at the fingertips thanks to the Loquendo MRCP Server so they can create high quality speech solutions and save on costs.
The server, which won the IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer Award from TMC, makes it possible to use all of Loquendo's speech technologies in a flexible, standards-based client-server architecture – making large-scale deployments of speech technologies possible.
With Loquendo's various language offerings, its possible for Interact to offer their expanding client base worldwide speech solutions that improve caller interaction and reduce wait times, among other benefits.
According to the company, "VIP V6 with SPOT VoiceXML (News - Alert)/Call Control XML based Interpreters from Interact Incorporated is designed to support high performance production systems such as IVR clusters in communications carrier infrastructures, MediaServers for IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS), IVRs in Call Centers and other enterprise environments."
Commenting on the company's partnership with Loquendo, Greg Gissler, Founder, VP, and CTO of Interact Incorporated said, "Their rich supply of languages and voices nicely complements SPOT, our high performance VoiceXML and CCXML based technology. Both our companies share a strong belief in standards and this ensures that our partnership can be long-term and is guaranteed to meet the requirements of our customers throughout the globe, even into the future.”
Earlier this week, Loquendo made headlines with the announcement that it's working with Expert System to provide speech solutions for the security sector, particularly for homeland security.
