In an effort to broaden its customer base and raise awareness about its products, a Huntington Beach, Calif.-based provider of integrated telepresence and video conferencing solutions announced it will be exhibiting its solutions at an upcoming IT industry summit.

BrightCom officials said this week they will display their telepresence and video conferencing solutions at booth 411 at the Los Angeles Education and Technology Summit on Nov. 4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The event, which targets executives from government, education, economic development and corporate communities, is designed to support education, economic development and the proliferation of information technology. During the show, attendees will participate in demonstrations, networking and the presentations from industry icons.
“BrightCom is very excited to be able to show the latest in innovated telepresence and video conferencing solutions at the LA IT Summit,” said Bob McCandless, CEO of BrightCom. “We are thrilled to be among an excellent group of professionals, educators and industry leaders.”
At the event, BrightCom plans to demonstrate its video and data conferencing solution, specifically its Visual Collaboration System and the ClearView 1042 Mobile Cart product – some examples of the company’s many telepresence and HD video conferencing solutions that are designed for instant and everyday collaboration.
BrightCom VCS is a single network appliance that helps business with meeting control and gives users the ability to broadcast and markup multiple types of meeting materials in real time. The technology also includes data sharing capabilities. The multi-screen management capabilities from the company’s ClearView HD Video Conferencing solution let users display materials and video broadcasts side by side based on the moderator’s preference of screen layout.
Recently, Brightcom expanded its product offering by launching Lumina Telepresence, a new line designed for business collaboration. Its first product, called the L37, is a modular solution that offers a turnkey environment integrating immersive telepresence with Web conferencing functions offering instant, life-like communication. The modular telepresence workstation features a desk and backdrop.
