For Managed Service Providers (MSPs), the addition of each new product or service they can offer to their customers is one more way they can differentiate themselves from the competition and increase their revenue. With technology in IT evolving at such a fast rate, making the latest solution available goes a long way to bring in more customers. ADTRAN (News - Alert) just announced the launch of its ProCloud unified communication (UC), powered by BroadSoft (News - Alert), which is going to enable MSPs to increase their cloud-based UC offerings.

Under this new collaboration, the BroadCloud call control platform is going to provide the infrastructure to deliver the ProCloud Subscription Services Suite, through what ADTRAN calls a unique model and one of the first network infrastructure partners that BroadSoft is collaborating with. If all goes according to plan, it will give ADTRAN’s partners more opportunities to increase their revenue with best-of-breed networking and application services with an alliance between two global service providers.

“This collaboration puts best-in-class services in the hands of MSPs who may not have previously been able to access them due to investment requirements, deployment times or limitations of traditional UC solutions,” said Dino Di Palma, chief revenue officer, BroadSoft.

ADTRAN is a global provider of networking and communications equipment enabling voice, data, video and Internet communications across a range of network infrastructures used by service providers, private enterprises, government organizations, and millions of individual consumers. BroadSoft specializes in cloud communications, collaboration and contact center solutions, which is currently being used by 25 of the world’s top 30 service providers by revenue, as well as many other businesses and service providers across 80 countries.

With their proven experience and service delivery across industries of all sizes, the availability of the new ProCloud Subscription Services Suite for MSPs is going to allow them to access a solution from a single vendor. According to Diane Myers, senior research director, IHS (News - Alert) Markit, this is going to allow them to, “Leverage an integrated cloud platform, brand it as their own and simplify the purchase and adoption of cloud services for their business customers.”

“The partner benefits from an accelerated time to market and the scalability and flexibility of a hosted UC solution, all with minimal investment, enabling our partner community to seamlessly grow market and margins more easily,” said Parker Smith, director of business development for ADTRAN’s business solutions and cloud services.

The ADTRAN ProCloud unified communication solution includes tools MSPs can use to win and keep customers by simplifying the process of launching and supporting business communications services like mobility, instant messaging and presence, HD audio and video calling, conferencing and group collaboration capabilities with what the company calls “partner in a box” qualities. And because the BroadCloud platform is being deployed, scalability will not be an issue, which will give MSPs a platform to expand services as the need of their customers grows. All of these features and options are available to MSPs as their own unified communication solutions they can brand to set themselves apart from their competition.
