Text conversations occurring on Google (News - Alert) My Business can now be managed utilizing Text Request. Text Request is an online business SMS service that allows companies to use existing phone numbers for text exchanges.

Users can now directly text companies right from search listings with Text Request helming the backend dashboard, ensuring all of the conversations are properly handled and delivered to the team. This texting forum can be accessed from business’ landlines, VoIP, or toll-free numbers.

When it comes to American searches, Google makes up 90 percent with more than 50 percent of said searches performed from mobile phones. Twilio’s study found 90 percent of customers prefer to message with businesses over verbal communication. Through Text Request, this is becoming a reality while bolstering business at the same time.

According to Brian Elrod, CEO of Text Request, "These inbound messages turn into more leads and customers for your business, because people would rather text you than call someone else to get what they need."

With Text Request, searchers do not need to download any apps to enjoy the capability. They can simply message searched companies directly, whether it is to make an appointment or inquire about services. It does require an account, which can be logged into from a computer or mobile device.

Additional features include:

  • Click-to-text for more leads
  • Ability to send BCC (News - Alert) group messages
  • Manage campaigns and subscribers through keywords
  • Integrate Text Request anywhere needed- open API, webhooks, Chrome extensions, and Zapier integrations for easy merging into existing workflow
  • Unlimited users and contacts
  • Tagging
  • Archived contacts
  • Multi-language support
  • Emojis and emoticons
