IntelePeer (News - Alert), a provider of on-demand, cloud-based communications, has been named to Inc. magazine's prestigious Inc. 500|5000 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The company has earned the 1317th position for 2012.

IntelePeer's significant revenue growth is key factor in earning a spot in the top third of prestigious Inc. 500|5000 list for 2012, a statement from the company said. The median growth rate of 2012 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 97 percent. Aggregate revenue among the 2012 Inc. 500|5000 honorees reached $299 billion.

IntelePeer enables carriers, businesses and software vendors to easily deliver voice and multimedia capabilities to any phone or network-connected device – without incurring up-front capital costs.

Through its Communications-as-a-Service (CaaS) platform, IntelePeer AppWorx, SuperRegistry and extensive peering grid, the company provides its customers with a platform to offer high-quality interactive voice, video, SMS, data and other rich-media services while providing significant cost savings for their telecommunication expenditures.

Based in San Mateo, Calif., IntelePeer operates its own carrier-grade voice peering network carrying more than six billion minutes, with worldwide coverage delivered through an IP and TDM peering grid with over 50 leading service provider peering partners.

This is the third time IntelePeer has been named to the Inc. 500|5000 list.

"Our inclusion in the Inc. 500|5000 list for the third time showcases the value of our cloud-based communications platform and services, which play a key role in helping our customers achieve their business goals," said Frank Fawzi, president, CEO and chairman of IntelePeer.

"We allow enterprises and service providers to easily take advantage of next-generation IP services, providing the high-quality technology, superior service, access to skilled partners and flexible purchasing plans they need to succeed," Fawzi added.

Recently Intelepeer also formed partnership with Conquest Technology Services, a consulting company and Microsoft (News - Alert) Gold Partner. The companies will work together to provide Microsoft Lync Unified Communications (UC) solutions to business customers.
